recently, Peter Boyle, a supporting actor on one of my fav tv shows, Everybody Loves Raymond, died. he was around 71, i think. then 2 days ago, i my aunt called and said her mother died and the funeral is friday. i think she was maybe 80-something years old.
i think whenever someone dies, you suddenly realize that
YOU
will also die someday, too.
it's just not your turn yet.
of course, like any1 else, i fear death.
but when u try to think of it in these ways, it's not so bad....
-we're born, we live....we die. it's the
cycle of life. that's that. everyone goes through it. why fight it?
-as long as u live life fully (or to the best of your ability, anyway), that means
you've led a meaningful life.
-if you R able to accomplish certain things that changes the world for the better of improves it in some way, or you manage to help a lot a lot of ppl, GOOD FOR YOU. you have helped the planet/a lot of ppl, and you will leave a legacy of your work behind for future generations to admire. or at least people living within 10 years after your death....that's pretty good too...haha.
my goal is the last thing on my list.
i hope be4 i die, i can do some great things for the world, or at least some great things for some people, which will still be very meaningful and good....
